Rise of Tomb Raider redeem gift error

Hi. Every time I try to redeem a gift in marketplace I get the same error: "An unknown error occurred while trying to redeem this pack. Check the Gifts tab to try again". There are only 2 other posts about this issue and no answer at all. Not even
an answer saying that the issue is being investigated...

I need a fix or my money back. Can't even use season pass add-ons... Money wasted...

sry for my bad english. I bought the Xbox One Bundle Rise of the Tomb Raider. I got the Tomb Raider 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider but i didnt get the dlc
Tactical Survival Kit Content Pack. The Redeem card have only one key and this is the game Rise of the Tomb Raider and no code for the dlc.

I hope you can help me with my problem.

Have you updated the game?

For seasons pass items the game.must be up to date

 

The addons download separately but you still need to update the game

Like yaga baga witch is an ingame quest hence why the game has to be updated to include it

 

I have had the same issue today. I have 14 things in the gift tab and if i try to open any of them the same error comes up as above. I have the season pass have downloaded baba yaga and have pre order bonuses and collectors edition bonuses and stuff I've
bought from the xbox store. I am going to contact support tomorrow and if they cant fix it will be asking for my money back for the dlc and season pass.

 

I have the same issue on 3 of mine. I can't access the Baba Yaga, the reward for playing this weekend, or for defeating the game. It just keeps telling me that an unknown error is occurring and to try the gifts again. I am on the phone with Xbox support
agent now and she told me to add to this forum to let them know there is a problem because she can't find a solution.

 

It's not really a promotion. Issue or an download

I'd say contact the game forums for that specific game

I don't want to say delete the game because the season pass isn't a separate download

 

Delete and redownload but I'd say wait till you talk to eidos support

 

Problem is no one is taking responsibility. If you go to square enix. Crystal dynamix. Eidios montreal they all say on their support page to contact xbox support. This is pathetic because it seems to be a in game menu issue. Buying and inputting codes on
xbox works. They game recognizes that you own the items but the game wont open them. This is a major issue because they are bonuses and bought items that dont work. Their needs to be a contact to get this sorted or a refund.

 

I have contacted Xbox and they have said its an in game issue. They have contacted the back office support team to investigate the issue and will get back to me in 72 hours. To help this move along id suggest you all contact them. Be nice about it and describe
the issue. So they know that this is widespread.

 

I too now have four gifts in the marketplace but get the same error when trying to redeem them (Unknown error occurred etc). At first I thought it must just be a busy weekend and the servers were overloaded. Now I'm not so sure.

How do I make sure the game is updated? I thought that was all automatic. I sure would like to redeem these gifts.

 

Still haven't heard back from xbox support. Will wait till tomorrow and if i haven't heard from them will contact them again. . I suggest you contact them too. As i have stated above.

 

Tried it today and the gift tab worked for me today. Good luck and i hope it works for you all.
