Tomb raider was my one. Of favourite game last gen cannot wait for this

 

Is that what you call it ? I call it pretty much below the belt and its a shame if thats what next gen has in store for people. Lara croft and Tomb raider is a iconic franchise and too exclude fans because of choice of console is disgusting. Im a huge fan
having grown up on tomb raider and i can tell you ied be pretty >insert swear word of choice< at the moment if i was a PS4 owner. Thats a dam fine catch there would not be your choice of words if it was vice versa. Being a Xbox One owner i guess im lucky but
to know that it could have been the opposite situation is not a nice feeling. Any huge Final Fantasy fans like myself reading this ? Well lets hope they dont take that away from Xbox owners. Loyalty only comes into play between fan boys and thier console
wars the sooner people realise this the better because the games industry sure has.

Tbh, aside from first party titles, exclusivity deals for anything more than timed content/releases are a terrible idea imo.

I just hope MS paid Square-Enix/Crystal Dynamics a big enough chunk to compensate for losing out on the potential of over 10 million sales and that they can re-coup whatever it's cost them.

 

I never played the most recent Tomb Raider, as I was put off by the competitive multiplayer aspect of it, along with a lack of raiding tombs in the single player. Did I miss out?

Hopefully this one will go back to what made Tomb Raider great, at least for me. Puzzles to solve, and lots of raiding tombs.

I'm certainly looking forward to it.

 

^ Enix yes I would say you did miss out, it is a great game, granted the tombs were a bit underwhelming but the story and presentation were extremely slick, really good especially on the One (I played 360 and One versions) As for the MP I never even
looked at it once.

 

Turns out it's just a timed exclusive, so that's great for all gamers

 

I agree with Mr Genchy, it was a fantastic title.

Just a pity there wasn't more tombs to explore ( developers saying there should be a lot more in the new game ) but other than that it was still one of my favourite titles of recent times.

 

@ Genchy & Lofty Who - I might have to give it a look-see. As it is I'm needing something to play before the inevitable release of Destiny. Diablo 3 is on the horizon, but that's nearly a week away.
