Rise of the Tomb Raider - Points ingame are bound to Xbox-account?

Hi guys,

i hope someone can answer me that, i want to use a new Xbox360 from now on and i've played Rise of the Tomb Raider on the old. I've accumulated a lot of Points. My Question is: Are the Points bound to the savegame or are they bound to my account? So do i
have to replay everything again to acquire these Points or will they be there with a new Installation?

If you mean Gamerscore then that is tied to your account so as long as you're using the same account on the new console you wont have to earn them again.

If you don't transfer your save you will have to start the game again.

 

Oh no, i meant the credits! With which you can buy Cards in the Marketplace for the Expedition mode.

 

Ah right,sorry didn't realise as I haven't played the newest Tomb Raider yet.

I would assume they are linked to the game save.

As you are a silver account you can't use the cloud so would need to use a usb thumb drive or transfer cable to transfer you saves over to your new console.

Yeah.Done it myself.If you have gold & are connected to live on the 360 you can upload your save to the cloud then download it on your new console.

I just moved all my saves to a usb drive & moved them that way.There are a few games that don't allow this but I think they mainly older games.

If you use a usb thumb drive you will have to connect it to your console to configure it first but that's simple enough.

 

One last Thing: The Transfer via USB-Stick was successful without any Problems. The Points/Credits you get in the game (Rise of the Tomb Raider), which you can spend on Cards for the Expedition mode are connected to your XBox Live account and not to your
savegame. So if you don't Need the save games, you don't Need to Transfer anything.

But Transfer Options are very easy and simple and you can Transfer just one or two savegames from different games or everything, it's left to your choice.
