Rise of the Tomb Raider on Win10 Achievements Not Unlocking

Hey, guys! We are currently working with the team that deals with these issues to get this resolved for Windows 10. I don't know when I will have an update for you, but once I do, I will post back in here.

 

i have a achievement problem too DLC Endurance Mode One Way to Do It

Endurance Challenge: Warm up from freezing by standing in fire i have finish this chellenge but no achievement the problem is i can not redoing this chellenge its marked as finish and i can not equip this chellenge another time please help

One additional note - I noticed that I have this same issue with one achievement for Minesweeper on Win8.1, so I don't believe the issue is exclusive to Win10.

 

a little update for my achievement problem in the last time i have ever day replay this challenge nothing pop but i wondering today i look under my xbox one achievements and in this list the achievement is marked as (100% Done) but its not synced so its
not a problem from the reqiurements

 

Is there any estimate on when this issue will be addressed? It seems that the problem is systemic and can affect achievements randomly for any game played in Windows.

For me, it's been two months but I know the issue was reported by others well before that.

 

This just happened to me too on the final DLC Pack. Achievements have stopped unlocking and due to the way Tomb Raider is setup only being able to complete achievements with the challenge active I can't retry them either. Really upset about this as I was
close to finishing the game 100% and now I seem to be completely locked out of this. I have tried to reinstall but it didn't help.

 

Same issue with Quantum Break for windows 10. Initally achievements were unlocked but after a few hours it does'nt work anymore...

 

Apparently Quantum Break in Win10 is fully synced with the One, meaning that your game progress, including achievements, will be identical regardless of the platform you play on (assuming you sign in with a common gamertag/microsoft account). Accordingly,
you might be able to "unstick" broken achievements by playing on the One.

This is different than Rise of the Tomb Raider where the Win10 and One versions have separate (albeit identical) achievement lists. I have broken achievements on the Win10 version but 100% on the One.

Personally, I wish they had kept separate lists for the Win10 and One versions of Quantum Break. I like doubling up achievements. It also made the free code for the Win10 version worthless to me because I had already fully played the game on the One.

Unfortunately, your problems with different games/achievements just further confirm that this problem has something to do with the achievement system linked to Win10. I wish MS would figure this out or at least work out a support system so that they can
unlock stuck achievements when they can confirm that they should be unlocked. It's been almost 6 months now with no technical solution from MS.

 

yeah it is a common problem it seems.. I for myself cannot unlock any achievement either in Quantum Break on Windows 10.

The Xbox App tracks the played time just fine, just everything else isn't tracked and shown including achievements of course.

 

Same issue, I'm at 990/1000 points on the base game and the achievement I am missing is 'Strange Acquaintance' which is story related and unmissable. Doesn't unlock no matter how often I replay it.

 

So, I ended up playing this game offline and 100% the game when I went back online only a few achievements popped! Unmissable achievements are locked i.e first mission yet the one for completing all tombs on one play through unlocked. I've done everything
I could do even a complete factory reset and nothing! It's been over 3 weeks spoke to a number of people at Micro$oft and with absolutely no help. I've went back and try to unlock achievements and still nothing, I'm so sick of this company ignoring gamers
their bottom line is $$$. I'm a hardcore completionist and this is just unacceptable, I'm starting to lean towards Playstation, thanks Microsoft for disappointing a gamer and technical support reading from a useless script!

 

Still not fixed this issue.

I'm having the same problems with Forza Horizon 3 on W10.

Microsoft told me to come here, but this forum is full of unreplied posts complaining about this issue.

 

I'm following up on my original post 9 months ago to add a few items.

I recently returned to Rise of the Tomb Raider because the new DLC came out. I also checked to see if the glitched achievements would unlock now. They still won't.

In addition, I can now add some new glitched achievements that have just occurred with Gears of War 4 for me. Gears of War 4 employs a synchronized achievement list, like Quantum Break. I foolishly opted to play some of the campaign for Gears 4 on Win
10. During that session, I completed getting all the collectibles (which should have unlocked "Completionist") and also carried the customized lancer to the end of Act V, Chapter 2 (which should have unlocked "The Sound of Silence"). In both cases, neither
achievement unlocked. In addition, returning to the Xbox One and "redoing" The Sound of Silence did not unlock the achievement. I could not redo Completionist because my War Journal shows that I have all the collectibles even though the achievement is not
unlocked. (Interestingly though, the Summary page indicates I only have 48 collectibles despite 50/50 collectibles shown in the actual collectible list.)

Bottom line is that this system issue persists and no on at MS has figured out why it is happening. Short of figuring out "why" it is happening, I had hoped that MS would release a "tool" of some kind that would allow their tech support to manually unlock
achievements that they can confirm should be unlocked, such as story-related achievements or this collectible achievement where I can show that I have all of them.

I'll send a follow up message to Misses Quinzel who I believed was to be our champion at MS regarding this issue.

 

Regarding my post yesterday - while playing horde in Gears of War 4 on my Xbox One, I unlocked a few other achievements. At the same time, "Completionist" unlocked as well. Perhaps the system rescans for achievements in some way when a new achievement
is unlocked. However, "The Sound of Silence" (for carrying the modified Lancer) did not unlock at the same time. I will try "redoing" The Sound of Silence achievement again today on the One to see if it unlocks now.

- which still references Win8. I've tried everything there multiple times before and filled out their survey. I wish I had some direct contact with the "team" she mentioned that was looking into the issue 9 months ago. Has anyone else with this issue had
contact with the "team" or heard of a specific resolution coming from them?

 

Redoing "The Sound of Silence" (for carrying the modified Lancer) achievement on the One did unlock the achievement. So, it appears that the Win10 glitched achievement issue does not apply to Gears 4. However, this may only be because the game does a
rescan/reunlock of achievement when new ones are unlocked. This is just a halfassed theory but I say this because the Completionist achievement popped at the moment I was unlocking other achievements playing a different mode (horde). The underlying inconsistency
in my profile still exists because the summary screen in the game still indicates that I have only 48 collectibles while all 50/50 collectibles are actually shown on the listing pages in the game.

Perhaps the software developers could correct these problems, e.g. Ubisoft for Rise of the Tomb Raider, on their end?
