Rise of the Tomb Raider on Win10 Achievements Not Unlocking

Certain achievements are glitched for me on Rise of the Tomb Raider on Win10.

I have gone through all possible troubleshooting steps.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game. I have run "wsreset.exe." I have also started a new game and played to the same point to make sure it has nothing to do with a corrupted gamesave. I have even installed the game on another system and tried to get
the achievements there. I have waited well over 72 hours, so this is also not a unlocking delay issue.

I know this issues is not a problem with the particular achievements, but a problem with the system tied directly to my gamertag. (For example, the 360 version of this same game has achievement-specific issues that can only be the fault of the developer.
Hopefully they patch this soon.) Another player has the same issue but with different achievements. All the achievements were completed in the same short period (around 11:30 PST on January 31, 2016). (Many of them are story-related, so the issue is not
that I don't know how to get them.) Once I noticed the achievements weren't unlocking, I restarted my PC and achievements started unlocking from that point. However, no matter what I did, I could not get the missed achievements to unlock.

I have contact Square Enix as well but I only got a form e-mail back that referred me to Steam Support even though I made it clear I was playing on Win10.

Any suggestons?

Hello,

I got like 11 achievements stuck on Done! unlocking... in Rise of the Tomb Raider. How long will it take for them to pop?

This happend 15-01-2016. Hopefully this will be fixed.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Achievements Not Unlocking

I have 3 achievements for Rise of the Tomb Raider that are 100% complete but not unlocking. They are Firestarter, Fall Guys, and Fluent.

I'ts been about a month now, and I've completed all the troubleshooting steps recommended by the support forum on locked achievements.

 

Follow up to my post above. Square Enix has replied a second time with the following:

The achievement server is on Microsoft's end and they should be able to check to see if there is a problem or if the progress needs to be reset. We would have referred you to the game platform's store (Sony or Xbox) which is the reason for the confusion
here. We apologize again for the issues you have had and advise you to contact the Microsoft Store support as they may be able to get you in contact with an agent able to look at the status of the Gamertag. Unfortunately Square Enix does not have access to
this server nor Gamertag information so we wouldn't be able to help directly. Our sincerest apologies.

Hey there, BKLortz! To clarify what is going on, are these achievements listed as "Done! Unlocking..." or are they simply not unlocking for you?

We are aware of achievements taking longer than normal to fully unlock. If your achievements simply say that they are unlocking, the only thing you can do is wait for them to fully unlock.

As of right now, the only achievements not unlocked on your account that I can see are Firestarter and 4 Baba Yaga achievements. Are there others that you are missing?

 

This is not a delayed unlock issue. I've seen those.

In this case the achievement was unlocked (or should have been) on Jan 31 about 11:30. (I know this because I can see the time stamp for the achievements just before the problem occurred.) It's definitely been well over the 72hr wait period and the status
has never changed from "Locked."

Yes - all the remaining achievements of the game are ones that should have unlocked before and nothing I do now can get them to unlock. (So frustrating not getting that 100%)

 

I am experiencing the same issue as BKLortz. I have 4 achievements that won't unlock and have tried the same troubleshooting steps as him. I've even went as far to complete the game again on another computer and no luck.

Please look into this.

 

I'm also missing several achievements for which I've met the requirements, a couple of them related to story progression.

I guess I was logged out of Xbox Live while playing (some sort of indicator when that happens would be nice), when I later started up the Xbox app it wanted me to log in again before loading my feed.

Does the game just think it has already handed over the info to the Xbox app / Xbox live? Was the info recieved but not processed by the servers? Is it possible to do some sort of rescan, either for unprocessed data on the servers or by an update to the
game to resend what requirements have been met?

 

HenkusFilijokus - I believe my issue also occurred when I was logged out but had no notice. I think Bk Dragon told this is likely the way it happened for him as well.

Hopefully, this can help MS with troubleshooting and the fix. I can understand being logged out not giving the achievement (even though the xbox doesn't do that), but being logged out shouldn't permanently prevent you from getting the achievement even if
you redo it.

 

Bump, I'm having this problem as well for SEVERAL achievements. If one were to look you can see I have none of the first few mission's impossible to miss secret achievements but do have some other miscellaneous ones. The other day I played I DID in fact
get achievements for everything I did, story and miscellaneously which gave me the impression it was a server thing and had been fixed. Days later I play again, the problem is back and I cannot progress. If I had known this, I would've finished the game then
and there instead of quit then jump with joy assuming it was fixed

 

I seem to have run into this same issue. The first time I played the game, everything seemed to be unlocking fine. Today I resumed my progress, and should have received 3 achievements, Rapid Recovery (heal 3 times in combat), Strange Acquaintance (rescue
Jacob) and English Pedigree (headshot an enemy with an arrow from 50m). I've rebooted, restarted the game multiple times, keep healing in combat, and nothing is unlocking. Nothing shows as Done Unlocking, it just shows Locked and no progress. Very frustrating.

I am certain I was logged into Xbox Live as I was getting pop up notifications for messages no problem, and was using the Xbox app where it showed I was playing Rise of the Tomb Raider. (Windows 10 version).

 

I'm adding this link to another related thread - this issue applies to xbox on win10 games generally - not just Rise of the Tomb Raider. This corroborates the statement from Square Enix that the issue is not on their end.

I noticed some of my medals updated in MS Solitaire (Windows 10 version) today and I received a Windows Update, so I launched Rise of the Tomb Raider and it popped the achievement for 25% of collectibles. I then went into a fight and healed 3 times and it
popped Rapid Recovery as well. Unfortunately the story achievement for rescuing Jacob never popped, so I suspect I would have to actually rescue him again on a new save... not ideal.

 

I checked mine as well. My system didn't need any updates. I tried Firestarter and the achve for making the antidote in Baba Yaga - I have save points just before getting these two. Unfortunately, neither popped. Oh well. Still waiting.

 

I am also having the same issues described here with multiple Windows 10 Achievements for Rise of the Tomb Raider. One of them is also on the DLC, where you have to fall off the list. I have done this multiple times and it has not unlocked. Progress towards
other achievements is no longer increasing either.
