    Rise of the Tomb Raider not loading on xbox one x


    Hello helpful folks! Bought RotTR again after getting my Xbox One X. Owned it when it first came out a couple of years ago. Tried the free trial first but that didn't work. Then tried the game when I'd bought it but the title screen comes up then it goes
    to a black screen then after a while back to the home screen. I've tried the hard reset, I've deleted my profile and re downloaded it. I've signed out and used a different profile. deleted my save game data and any dlc. Changed language and location settings
    and reinstalled it 3 times! Everything I can think of but when I try the game on my original Xbox one it works fine so it's not the disk. Really frustrating! Please help!

    rise of the tomb raider no HDR on one s

    rise of the tomb raider did not shown in HDR on my Xbox one s, while gears of war 4 works fine.

    When I launch gow 4, my TV shows an HDR mark.

    When I launch rise of the tomb raider, it does not.

    Is the HDR feature of this game an Xbox one X exclusive one?

    Have you tried clearing your cache by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds?

    Yep, several times. I really don't want to reset to factory settings and wipe everything as those 4K patches can be well over 10GB and redownloading them is no trivial matter.

    Shadow of the Tomb Raider FPS Boost

    Hi,

    With the exception of I think 'Tomb Raider', both Rise and Shadow of the Tomb Raider already have 60fps built into the game as the Series X can use all the features of the Xbox One X enhanced titles. The option to use 60fps 'performance mode' should be available to change in the in-game menu.
