Rise Of The Tomb Raider gets one more shot at life

Lei Fang, I can't express this enough, you really need to try outside of the MS consoles, I can't help but to think there are a tonne of games out there you may actually really enjoy. This run of "Boy" games as I call them really isn't working out for you.

I love this game and I've spent lots of hours with it and I'm still playing it if I have the time. Opinions and impressions are always different, that's normal. ;-)

 

Lei fang never say you sorry because you don't enjoy games which others enjoy. I think the Assassin Creed games are $30 or less games. So a lot of my friends are already done with Assassin Creed before I even think of buying it. Find out what you like,
play online with people who like the same. And bite your thumb at those who think you are a fake gamer.

 

Jasper that's all well and good. But on the flipside don't go on and on and on and on about hating a game which other gamers may actually enjoy...yeah? Also, don't over apologise. I'm not overly enamoured by JC3. I'm finding the controls less than intuitive
and on foot Rico moves like a snail but I'm going to persevere because I read (on here) that the game improves. You won't find a thread created by me complaining or chastising the game!

Yes several posts have been deleted, including mine, but I don't think any of the posts were malicious or vindictive. The weren't exactly character assassinating either. I think they pretty much told it like it was and more to the point, I think the posts
what a lot of other posters think but would rather not say. Az hit the nail bang on the head. Maybe the whole thread should have been deleted because it not as if the TC didn't already have a Tomb Raider thread on the go, did s/he not? But no, instead of posting
in thread s/he decides to create a new topic just for the added attention.

 

How people write stuff, especially on the net often isn't how it reads, everyone is entitled to have an opinion, however when its about people, IMO the forum isn't the place to voice it. If you don't like how people content or how they present their information
in whatever way, everyone should be able to ignore it.

A little tolerance goes a long way, not everyone is the same, and you can't base anything about someone from a forum, life is much more complicated.

Also lets face it the forum isn't exactly full of people, it would be a shame to loss more people because a select few felt the need to judge other people, and voice that opinion.

I just 100% ROTTR and took me about 39 hours I think I finished the campaign and explored at around the 20 hour mark. I disagree with the short campaign digi. I even put down fallout 4 to go back and find all the collectables/complete challenges and missions.
Haven't even touched the score attack modes yet. Great game. The cards can be used even without Buying endurance mode which I'll pick up later at a discount. Plenty in the base game to enjoy.

 

It's a great game and I'll be honest to say I only bought it through other gamers ^ experiences and comments. This is just what the series needed, and I haven't even finished it yet. Now every time I see ROTTR I think people are talking about Rise Of The
Triads.

 

Rise of the Triads lol. Another good thing about the game is the lack of load screens once in a level and they are quite big.

 

Quick question peeps. I've just entered the Cathedral area, game says I'm about 30% through. I still have loads of upgrades to do on the guns, plus I only have the second bow ( the recurve I think ). Now I want to go a little more stealthy, would you go
back to previous areas and do some of the stuff I couldn't do, due to not having the knife, rope arrows, explosives etc'?. Or just soldier on and go back when the story is complete.

Ok bro. Was actually at 38%.

 

Finished the Story, glad I stuck with it. Only 70% done though so gotta go back and get all the relics, arti's etc'.

 

I completed this yesterday (well over 80% completed) I liked the final sequences but over I enjoyed the last game more, I just didn't like the story in this one. But the combat is the same and it still feels satisfying, especially when you stealth kill everyone
with a bow and arrow.

 

I'm considering grabbing this again for Pc. I just noticed it on cd keys for basically half price preorder.
