Rise Of The Tomb Raider 15 mins Of Gameplay

The crafting systems adds tons of extra depth to game's, I'm actually the opposite and wish they would put even deeper/complex crafting into games.

I don't mind " a little bit " of crafting in games, but based on what I've seen from the Tomb Raider Reboot (which will probably be more in depth in Rise Of The Tomb Raider), crafting plays a heavy role in the game

It's a shame you're not a fan of crafting in games Lei, think you'll miss out on a lot of extra content when it comes to something like Fallout. You never know, you might like it if you try.

 

@Lei: You don't have to find specific stuff in TR to craft. All of the material that you needed was called salvage and it was literally everywhere. Now since you hate crafting, I wouldn't recommend Far Cry 4. Another brilliant game but there's 'specific
crafting'. TR crafting is a walk in the park.

 

I didn't mind crafting in FC4 or Tomb Raider tbh, it was easier enough, it's games like Witcher 3 and Fallout with deep crafting system I don't like.

 

Lei the crafting (if you want to call it that, it's more upgrading really). Isn't in depth at all, it's really simple system, You get a point, you spend the point That's it! It's not like Skyrimm or Witcher .

 

I actually don't mind crafting in games, and based on the 15 minute video for this game they seemed to expand upon the crafting that is in the game and I like that change since it looks like it adds more depth to combat which I don't think is a bad thing.

Just to be clear about Tomb Raider, do you find a Bow and equipment or do I have to find a million things to make them?

I don't mind upgrading my stuff after I get them, but what I do mind is if I need to find the materials to build the Bow and equipment in the first place, then I now have to collect more materials to upgrade stuff.

In tomb raider Lei you'll come across a bow and as you journey across the game you will find parts to upgrade the bow, same with the other weapons. Though in the new one you have to find the specific materials for the upgrades, but in both you still don't
have to worry about having to craft the weapons themselves. Though if you watch the video in the 1st post that will explain the crafting mechanics better than what I can in words for the new game.
