    Greetings,

    I've recently noticed that a remastered version of Rise of Nations : Thrones and Patriots has released for PC. I immediately bought it since I' ve always been a fan of the franchise's game style , atmosphere and aesthetic still play it to this day and wanted to express my love for it! I appreciate the work, however I was saddened when noticed that limited amount of work has been done for the game on that remaster and options for multiplayer like Lan games for example have been removed. The question is, is there any sort of plans on a proper remaster to the epicness of a game that is Rise of Legends?? This game is too good to be unplayable! The promotion on this one was really bad. As a result long time fans as me never got to know about the game in the first place and it feels like it never got completed to the point it could have. But as of gameplay, concept and music I find it really compelling with a perfect mix of all the great features PC RTS games have in 2022 and I would give away any modern RTS to play this one with my friends any day!

    how can i play rise of legends multiplayer in windows 10?

    i already have rise of nations extended edition. that is not even the game i try to get help with. rise of legends is a different game. no matter how many times you claim them to be the same, it does not make it correct. you are still just as wrong in your statement. let us stop discussing rise of nations 1(rise of nation extended edition) and instead focus on rise of nations 2(rise of legends). i have been doing some testing. what i found is that the game struggles with maintaining connection when 2 different systems is used. windows 7 and 10 or windows 7 and 8.1 or windows 8.1 and 10. it works when both pcs run the same system.

    how can i play rise of legends multiplayer in windows 10?

    different game. i actually do not have any issues running rise of nations extended edition in windows 8.1 or 7 and i can play that multiplayer without issues. the game i do have issues with is rise of nations rise of legends. rise of legends only handles multiplayer when i use windows 7 or older. its requirements is windows xp. i just checked on the box. my problem is not windows 7 based. it is windows 10 based, as the game disconnects when i try running it in multiplayer with windows 10 as host. not the host though, the client.

    You may still continue to play the game Rise of Nations Rise of Legends. However, based on our resources, this game reached end of life where game functionality and features is not always guaranteed.

    Should you need to play multiplayer mode of the game with your friends you may try the updated version - Buy Rise of Nations: Extended Edition | Xbox.

    it is not an updated version. rise of nations: extended edition is a completely different game. gameplay is radically different in the 2 games. rise of legends have 3 factions: vinci, alin and cuotl, each with their own set of technologies. there is no advancing in age in rise of legends and no research building either for the 4 tech trees. each faction have 4 different tech trees as well with 4 technologies in each. please stop comparing 2 games as if they were one.
