rise of iron

is it my understanding that i need to repurchase a 59.99 game, which i have all of destiny on 360, for a 30.00 expansion? thats some bucks there, all total, about 190.00 for a 30.00 game, am i wrong on this?

Can't buy Destiny: The Rise of Iron

Im having the same problem.. I went to gamestop and bought Rise of iron for $30 and instead of getting rise of iron it gave me $30...??

 

The 360 version cannot be updated to Rise of Iron, if your on about the Xbox One version you can by the full collector edition that contains the following.

Includes:

• Destiny

• Expansion I: The Dark Below

• Expansion II: House of Wolves

• The Taken King

• Rise of Iron

• Level 40 Character Boost

Cost of which is £39.99 at most game stores in the UK.

As you have bought the 360 version then you would have to purchase the full game for the Xbox One as there is no upgrade path available.

 

They are being kind of sneaky on this one.

My friends are thinking of coming back to "Destiny" for the "Rise of Iron" but cannot find anything but the £50.00 download in the store.

The store HIDES "The Rise Of Iron" @ £24.99 unless you own "The Taken King".

If you own "Destiny" on the XBox ONE you need to purchse "The Taken King" for £14.99 and then "Rise Of Iron" is available for £24.99.

This saves you £10.00.

 

I purchased the Destiny Rise of Iron digital download from Gamestop and when I went to redeem the code it was a $30.00 gift card. So when I click on the rise of iron symbol in the game to try to purchase, I get a requirements not met Error that states the
the query Failed- Could not establish connection to the XBOX games store. New silver Purchases will update when you next sign in. What do I need to do to get this game installed. Why cant I purchase the standalone version in the XBOX store? What is the Problem?

You have to own Destiny the taken king, dark below and house of wolves DLC's in order to purchase the stand alone I believe. Or you could search rise of iron in the store and see if it pops up as stand alone.

 

I have the same problem. "requirements not met" I own all of the DLC's and Microsoft has confirmed this and told me the my account has all of the requirements met. I am beginning to think that the only way you could have gotten Rise of Iron for $30 was
to pre order it. If you did not then the only way you can buy it is to buy it is as part of the bundle for $60. I hope I am wrong about this.

The last conversation I had with MS they told me that Bungie pulled ROI on Sept 30 because of issues and you need to check back later to download it. I can not find any evidence that Bungie pulled the game other than from MS. This is so frustrating. I have
been trying to download this since Sept 25. All I see is "requirements not met" and not a single person from MS has been helpful and contacting Bungie is useless.

 

Trust me Dragon, it's been a known issue since the DLC came out. I still have not been able to download or purchase the standalone DLC, having owned the other content. Still have not received word from Bungie after contacting them directly by email support.
Asked their Twitter social and no response from them either. So I used my microsoft currency to purchase something else to another game and sold destiny cause I'm not paying for another $60 purchase of content I already own. Nope.

 

To re-evaluate what I meant is, I bought the destiny game title (when it first released). Bought the DLC on the Xbox console without issues.

But now cannot buy the standalone dlc for RoI and have to buy the collection on the store for $60. No thanks.
