rise of iron

I am unable to purchase the rise of iron pre-order. I own the original destiny game and all expansions on my name, When I go to purchase this on the xbox it will only sell me the destiny collection upgrade for $40, which includes the taken king - but I
already own the taken king. Please help! I called support and they told me that the solo expansion will not be available until 9/30 and that I have to buy the full game or wait. That doesn't seem right.

Can't buy Destiny: The Rise of Iron

Im having the same problem.. I went to gamestop and bought Rise of iron for $30 and instead of getting rise of iron it gave me $30...??

Could you please attempt these steps listed here to see if you can get the content:

In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

1. You can sign into your account via this link here:
www.microsoft.com/.../c3tbg0pc3fc9 and buy the DLC

Or

2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

Now you also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.

All the things that people are saying that supposedly fix the isssues with roi are not fixing it for me. Yes i have all parts of destiny, the taken king etc. I preordered this from gamestop which gave me the $30 microsoft credit. They dont send u the code
until the 19th (yesterday)...so i go into the store looking for the preorder option and it says unavailable. The only thing available for purchase was the bundle for 60 bucks. So i try in-game and go to the roi icon and click purchase. It says query failed
unable to connect to xbox game store. And some other crap about silver. So I couldnt buy it from the xbox store and i couldnt buy it directly from the game itself. And im wondering if i were to purchase the bundle for 60 would there still be issues. After
all this i dont even know if i want to take that risk. Now lets at least hope gamestop refunds me since i followed their directions exactly and i did not get what i paid for like 3 weeks ago. And then maybe somehow i will eventually get to buy and play roi.
This is a mess.
