    Bought Rise of Iron. Level 40.

    Mountain locked. Can't do anything at all. Says I need better gear, but only requirement for play was being level 40. Maybe a bug? Any solution?

    Can't buy Destiny: The Rise of Iron

    Im having the same problem.. I went to gamestop and bought Rise of iron for $30 and instead of getting rise of iron it gave me $30...??

    Ris of Iron locked

    It sounds like its your light level. Being level 40 is not the same as the light level.

    Each piece of armor, each weapon has a light level. If your light is not high enough, you will not be able to get into certain areas solo. You can get in with friends if their level is high enough. Increase your levels by raising your faction or vanguard
    levels, you can also purchase items through vendors that start at 350 light.

    You can forge things like nails and fittings and locks and such if this is an option for you you'll need iron, corundum if you want to make locks
