I don't consider myself a nostalgia warrior, because I loved some of the changes in gameplay and stuff they added in this game. As far as I am concerned Nostalgia warriors didn't do crap for this game and I had any power I'd not let them grace the game because
they abandoned it since it didn't fit to their exact specifications.

On your point though you're right about Glacius but the reason it made a lot of since was he used ice constructs before to attack, so it fits and it makes since.

I suppose if Cinder can shoot a slow stream of fire he could maybe shoot something faster in the new games something I hope can make up fro that. I also think to make up for his far reaching abilities he should probably be slower to, not as slow as Glacius
but still reasonably slow. In Instinct mode he can get a dash and that "burning touch" to make up for that lack of speed.

I suppose those possibilities were why I thought Cinder being a zoner was an odd idea considering that the previous games his only projectile was just plain crap, but you're right, we can't really know what he'll be like in this upcoming game because the
characters gameplay can diversify heavily from their previous iterations.

However I'm sure Cinder won't be THAT unfamiliar gameplay wise. I mean look at Fulgore:

Fulgore is one of my favorite characters in KI in fact he sits right on number one next to Riptor, And aside from having to charge and manage your meter, he feels exactly like he did in the old games, but tons better and even more so when you get full meter.
I just recently gotten better with him and even had a 5 game winning streak a few days ago before I got my hat handed to me.

I had at one point feared that Fulgore was going to be a zoner as opposed to a balance character because I was afraid he wouldn't have much use for the claws on his arms seing as the original logic I once had was:

Zoner=Poor close combat ability. BUT after some thought and looking at examples Fulgore's kind of the middle man between Glacius and Jago, he has tons of good range combat but also plenty of good close combat to where if you wanna just beat up someone in
a curb stomp close fist fight, you could if you were carful.

Now Fulgore is getting to the point were he will eventfully surpass my Jago (which I had kept using 85 percent of the time till Fulgore came out)

Cinder was my 2nd favorite under Riptor/Fulgore but seeing as there was hope for Fulgore there's some hope for Cinder to.

@Justathereptile my apologies sibling.Cinder was something I thought had to be addressed.

Back on Topic for Riptor's colors I hope we don't too many dull colors like gray or brown or anything. Heck I think it'd be awesome if we got a red and a blue riptor. Or maybe a riptor coloration like you did in your art concept.

As for gameplay, It could go in anyway

as a hybrid of Rushdown/Projectile, Rushdown/Knockdown (I think that's what I heard on the streams)

Who knows really.

I think what would be awesome is she puffs out her hood, her eyes glow green, faster attacking speed. and she has access to her acid spit move that works like's Fulgore's laser, but it's a one time shot and it's pretty fast but it is block bale and some
shadow moves can go through it. But if it hits it will slowly sap at health for a little while.

 

Her Instinct color should a full blown green to. I think that will be something.

 

@Justatherpeitle you mean her aural color? I know the following:

Jago has Yellow so does Orchid.

Thunder is electric blue

Sadira's black

Sabrewulf- cyan

T.J Combo: Blue

Fulgore: red

etc.

Spinal also has a neon green color for their aura

granted these are all minor things it might still be interesting.

As for her costumes I hope we don't too many dull colors like brown or something :/

 

Well apparently Maya is the one they revealed I was hoping for Cinder or Riptor, I'm disappointed, but I guess we'll have to be a little more patient for the man forever on fire and the mighty dino fighter.

 

I dont think riptor was in season 2 im sure he keep riptor and tusk for season 3

personally I'd rather Riptor be in season2 since season3 isn't a guarantee in of itself if season2 don't do well we can say good buy to it. Season3 can be for all new characters I think.

They said 5 returning characters and 3 new ones so it's a good chance Riptor might make it,.

 

A lot of requests for Riptor no joke!

 

All new character for season 3 its not a good marketing thing

it won't help season2 either if that's the case.

Heck if need be they can just include the boss characters in season3 like Eyedol and Gargos. They have a fanbase.

IMO If they did so well with the characters for season2 I'd be motivated to buy season3 even if it was all new characters, but this is season2 and I feel all the classics should come back now, I know there's people who want new characters but personally
I think they're a given they'll come when they come. I just don't trust the idea of no new characters making it season3. ESPECIALLY since Cinder and Riptor weren't even in the 2nd game.

But like everything else we'll have to wait till later down the road.
