So did you lose all AC:S progress? Man, if I lost my saves I don't think I could go back to it for a long while. I played it pretty solidly for a bit and then just dropped it. I rarely do that with any game.

It's a decent game, great looking, everything works as it should... but it just started to feel a little bit too much like real work. Distracting side-things everywhere. Heh ha. {=|

Genchy, that elite controller has changed my gaming to no more hand cramps. I'm using it on Xb1 and PS4, it is a god send to me and I'm not exaggerating. I'll do the PS4 talk for you, I'm playing Sword art Online on the competition at the moment and it's
bliss in comparison to the DS4. Next XB1 game for me will be either AC Syndicate or ROTTR, once I've demolished Sword Art of course. And of course sorry for your breakdown, and thank you for not having a breakdown.

 

I just bought an Xbox box one elite as well. I am happy with it.

 

I have the Xbox 1 Day 1 Edition console with Kinect too, and mine is still going fine. My Xbox 360 slim 250gb console which I got late 2010 (when I joined Xbox) is still working fine. 27 EB Games stores throughout New Zealand were open for the Xbox 1 Midnight
Launch night in November 2013 there were about 40 people who went to the midnight launch at my store. I went to it. The shop gave me free Microsoft wrist bands, Microsoft necklaces and packed the big box in a large free carry bag. It was kinda fun being the
only shop open in the CBD.

Well if you have the Day 1 console, I think it's a good memory. Remember, think of it that Microsoft SIGNED YOUR Day 1 edition console's CONTROLLER.

^ I called a girl at my Local EB and asked her to hold me a pre-order Day 1 without pre-ordering, Sure enough several didn't collect theirs so that's how I got mine. Black box, day one controller and console with Kinect, sticker and that useless achievement.
I can say that my xb1 has been fantastic sine day 1, Genchy has just been unlucky I guess.

 

I don't blame the hardware at all, its been in a fairly enclosed space since launch day and I didn't clean the vents or do anything apart from dust the top every now and again. Used every single day and extended use most weekends. Nothing lasts forever
and I'm happy I got my moneys worth out of it if you divide the £400 I spent by the approx 800 days use I had.

The only downside is my stupidity in messing up my AC save, Im not sure I can do that again...

 

MS couldn't use the final straw as there wouldn't be enough to go in every box, as its the final straw. </rolleyes>

I also think the hardware saw Genchy watching BB and gave on him, perfectly understandable IMO, its a slippery slope, just don't watch TOWIE your internet might give up on you as well.

 

^ haha yeah i can see big brother having that effect but combining that with assassins creed syndicate would have left it with no other choice (self destruct has been activated lol)

Are you going to restart syndicate Genchy? mines off to find a new home today, dont think i could restart it, i got annoyed each time i had to restart a mission, starting again would be the final straw

like that just by the feel of it... Got to say as AC games go I have found it completely uninspiring and the easiest of them all t 100% synch the missions, only one I didn't do so far was one in sequence 4 where you had to bust someone out of the Police convoy,
I didn't really know what was going on and ended up killing all the Bill!!

On a side note is (or has) anyone watched Making a Murderer on Netflix, possibly the most insane thing I have ever had the displeasure of watching, I cant believe what I'm seeing, I was literally shouting at my TV last night in rage!! Freaking unbelievable
but its true!!!!
