I WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO FIND $300 GONE FROM MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE MY SON HAD BOUGHT STUFF FOR A GAME

I ALLOWED HIM TO MAKE 1 PURCHASE OF $14.95 FOR V BUCKS AND WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION MORE MONEY WAS BEING SPENT

OBVIOUSLY KIDS DONT UNDERSTAND SO WHY NOT SEND AN EMAIL FOR CONFIRMATION OF A SECOND THIRD FOURTH FIFTH PURCHASE

THANKS NOW HES BAND AND NO MORE PURCHASES FROM ME

Create a separate account for your son to prevent unauthorized purchase in the future.

 

sometimes you can get a refund if you call and explain the situation. I think you have to try and talk to someone from the game it was purchased on not Xbox.

 

If you have your billing contact information set up correctly you will get an email notification when a purchase has been made account.microsoft.com and you can also remove your card from the account. Also, you can set up a Passkey for purchases to prevent
unwanted purchases made on the account if you choose to leave the credit card

There are several ways to prevent this. As well as doing as suggested and creating a child account that you can monitor and restrict for your son to use.
