I think the xbox one was rushed into production! You can't rip you adio cd into the hard drive, WOW big bumer, good job on that set back! xbox 360 did

xbox 360 has a frickin calculator app for crying out loud!!! XB1 barley has any apps!

Who's idea was to have all of this happen, if it were up to me, and I heard the idea of not having these things available on the newer console, I would have fired every last one of you idiots! The original xbox has the option to rip music to the hard drive

TV on your 360....

We have foxtel but they want an additional 20 bucks to view what I'm already paying for! What a rip off. I could get an additional foxtel box for less money.

 

Its called: xbox music and they want your $$$. Second, I'd hate to say it but PS4 is no better at all. I own both. I do not agree with this at all. For systems with such power it sure does go to waste over a simple codec. They want you to stream to your
hearts content "buy" subscriptions. Last I heard "we are working on it" from both companies. BTW PS4 can't even read a CD!! Go figure! Here is a quote from Sony

This means war lol. Xbox music should be free to gold subscribers because paying 100$ after droping 60$ for the yr gold!

 

I'm new to any console so I can't do any comparison comments around what's best, but what I will say' is that xbox one and the music gold subscription is far too expensive when you add in the £39 on top of the £89 a year, and for what ? it seems like you
pay for Gold and the music pass which are both the same, and shortly after my moolah reached their bank, they go and change the rules and it's free, well I want my money back "MICROSOFT"..... SOME HOPE ! I BET.

 

I'm sure CD uploads to the HD will be supported at some point through an update, same with background images. Not everything is done right away. And of course they rushed it out for release, they needed to compete with sony.
