Righting a wrong

First a little backstory. I'm a 35y man who's gamed all his life. First starting with my old Mac Plus in the 80s and then moving over to consoles with the Sega Master System shortly after that.

I picked up my original Xbox because of Halo, but quickly grew my library to include a lot more games across many genres. Throughout most of my Xbox gaming life I would pick up a game, play it and love it, and then put it on the shelf when some new shiny
game would come along. I've got a massive pile of games I loved and left. This continued on into the xbox 360's lifespan for me up until current day.

Here I am now with 2 kids and barely any time for gaming, but I've resolved myself to make the best use out of the couple of hours I can spend a week playing. I decided I would go back and play through some of the games that I loved but never finished.
First on the pile was this game, Morrowind.

I can now finally say that I have finished this game. I even played it on my original Xbox with the giant controllers. I'll tell you what, it feels really good. Almost like a big weight is off my shoulders. What a game too! I loved it 10 years
ago, but I really loved it this time around. I would sneak a couple hours here and there. I would tell my wife "I'll come to bed in a few minutes" only to spend another 2-3 hours playing. I know I'm going to keep going back to this one time and time
again.

For almost a decade, I considered Morrowind the finest video game ever made. Played it first on the PC, then later on the XBox360 when it became backward compatible. Now, I can happily report that Skyrim is easily just as good, and might even be a little
better! But, I certainly agree, Morrowind is a keeper and I always look forward to returning to it.

 

Morrowind is the best game ever. I remember flying around at 100 miles per hour summoning hundreds of zombies while shooting explosive rings of death from above lol i miss thais game

 

while skyrim is better than oblivion id honestly say morrowind kicks skyrim outta the water anyday. while its true skyrim has insane graphics, morrowinds quests were waaaay longer, deeper and more engaging. im not saying this lightly either, im level 999
in skyrim and was a 600 in morrowind, ive invested about 50 days play time in each game. either way its nice to know theres others out there that enjoy this amazing game. game on!
