Right stick stuck downwards

Sorry to hear you are having issues. There is a product called WD40 Contact Cleaner which may help. If not, then if it under warranty then I would suggest triggering that.

When watching a feature on Amazon Prime, pull downward towards you on the left stick or downward on the D-pad to access the play/pause and progress bar function. You can then use the A button to pause/play when that function is highlighted.

Pointing the left stick towards the right or using the right bumper will fast-forward through frames, and I believe left bumper will fast-reverse (though it's been a while since I've used that and could be wrong).

I can't remember what the controls I have set mine too (whether it's inverted or not).

When you pull the right stick towards you (towards the bottom of the controller - away from the start button) the jet will look upwards towards (pitch up) the sky, this should give you height. However the only way to gain height is holding down the right
trigger (accelerate), when you release the right trigger you will start to decrease in speed and start to fall to the ground.

If you keep the right stick towards you, you will start to engage a loop and you'll see sky, ground, sky, ground, until you decide to exit the loop or crash into the ground.

When you push the rick stick away from you (towards the top of the controller - towards the start button) the jet will look downwards towards (pitch down) the ground, however it is not ideal to keep the right stick pushed away from you, due to the jet going
verticle towards the ground and if you are not careful you will make a nice big mess on the ground, along with a suicide.

If you are going to engage an enemy target on the ground try and gain a lot of height (by pulling the right stick towards you), when your statisfied with the height your at, level off an start go head towards the ground (by pushing the right stick away from
you), however try and not go above 35 degrees because you may misjudge your target and obsticals (buildings, lamp-posts...etc) ahead of you, then you have time to adjust and may get that killer blow on the enemy target.

To see what degree of an angle you are using, go into the cockpit view and on the HUD of the jet, there are a series of markers, if I remember rightly they are going up/ down in 5's, so for going upwards towards the sky it is

0 (ground level),

5 degrees (upwards towards the sky),

10 degrees (upwards towards the sky),

15 degrees (upwards towards the sky)...etc

This is also for going downwards (towards the ground) however it is in minus figures, so

- 15 degrees (downwards towards the ground)..etc

- 10 degrees (downwards towards the ground),

- 5 degrees (downwards towards the ground),

0 (ground level).

The larger the number you see going upwards (towards the sky) you will start to go virtical, so if you see 45 degrees in the center of the jet cockpit you will be going 45 degrees upwards (towards the sky).

The best way to describe this is by an image (click for larger image),





The red rings are circling the angle of degree markers, it's a good way of indicating what angle you are heading.

When you move the right stick to the left (towards the D-pad) the jet will rotate left, this is ideal for banking/ turning left. If you hold the right stick to the left in the air you will execute left barrel rolls, they're great if you want to show off
but not great if you have a enemy jet chasing you.

If you move the right stick up and left (towards the Xbox guide button - controller) you will start to go towards the ground and bank/ turn left.

If you move the right stick down and left (towards the bottom of the controller - microphone port) you will start to go upwards (to the sky) and bank/ turn left.

If you gain a reasonable height then move the right stick left so the jet is roughly 90 degrees rotated left, make sure your in cockpit view and you should see a bit of ground and mostly sky, then you can let go of the right stick and move it (right stick)
towards you, this will execute a tigher left turn however you need to let go of right trigger (accelerate). The same also applies for moving the jet to the right.

hello recently I got my third xbox one wireless elite controller (the two others are back in store waranty change) and still have some issue with the stiks. FIRST controller, left stick get stuck on the right when use it on this direction. then went back
to store and get my SECOND rigth stick get stuck on right when use it on that same direction! went back to store and get my THIRD and guess what ? left and right stick get stuck on the right wen use it on this direction???? for a controller that cost half
the price of a console ****?

I too have an issue regarding an XBox360 controller. In particular, my control stick has an error that causes electronically pushing it downward without any input in short durations unless it is in operation.
