    Right stick acting as LT when pushed upwards.


    This is happening on my Xbox One controller. I noticed it this morning when playing a FPS game, I would constantly aim down sights when looking upwards. When I push the right stick up it acts as the LT until I let it go. I went into Xbox Accessories Test Mode to see if it was the game or the controller, it is the controller. I also updated the controllers firmware and the issue still persists. I tested it with my brothers Xbox controller and it works normally. Please help I don't want to purchase another controller.

    Are you playing on a Console? please, reset it.

    You can follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

    I have noticed if you remove the thumb stick the range of motion when pushing up now registers the full range of motion. It’s as if by having the thumb stick on it stops the controller from registering the full range upward
