    Right bumper doesn't register all presses


    I've owned my controller for just over a year I got it christmas 2022 and within the last month I've noticed the right bumper doesn't work 50%of the time. What can I do to fix this

    didn't work I went into the Xbox accessories and my right bumper is still the only button that either doesn't registers or stutters

    Thank you for letting me know and I apologize for the trouble. In this case, you may need to get the controller replaced/repaired.

    Kindly check if there is an update for your controller by following the steps below:

    “ 1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & streaming > Accessories, and then select the controller you want to update.
    2. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.
    3. If it says “Update,” select Firmware version, and then follow the steps provided.”

    I have the same issue too. The left bumper doesn't click like the right one does. Half the time, when I press it, the button press is not registered. I have the same issue when pressing right on the D-pad. MS wanted me to pay to ship the controller from
    the UK to Prague and then wait up to 28 days for a new one. Their customer support has been awful.
