Right analogue stick sensitivity - intermittent

Last night my Xbox One pad developed an intermittent fault on the right analogue stick. About once every 10 minutes pressing the right stick all the way to the right results in very low sensitivity, as if it is only being pushed about 25% to the right. It
can remain in this state for up to 5 seconds even if released to centre and then pushed right again.

This does not happen for any other direction on the stick. It's not the game either. I first experienced it playing Halo MCC and then tried Ziggurat to see if I got the same effect. It happened with both games.

I've heard of other people having identical experiences (right stick , 25% sensitivity only on the right direction). Is this a known physical issue with the controller or is there a firmware patch I need? I want to explore all avenues before paying out £40
for a new controller.

Right Analogue Stick Problem

You may be sweating allot try cleaning your thumbsticks With Compressed Air As you probably sweat allot and gunk gets stuck in your thimbsticks so they loose grip between the metal bars allowing them to hold together inside so clean the controllers with
compressed air it should work

 

I would of first said to get it fixed or replaced under warranty due to hardware issues.

But as it doesnt happen every second of use, and only every 10 min.

I will assume this is a software issue.

Please connect the controller to your xbox via Micro USB Cable, make sure it is fully updated.

If it is already updated, then they should release a patch after this problem has came to their attention.
