Right Analog DRIFT UP for the SECOND TIME! ( Xbox One Controller - white lunar special edition )

Hi Xbox community forum,

Perhaps you can shed some light on my issue or even help me.

I got an Xbox One white lunar special edition controller a few months ago, after using it ( not aggressively ) for around 2 weeks, I noticed the left side of the chassis started to creak every time I would only gently squeeze it. It was very annoying.

Then shortly after I started to get a little drift in the right analog, it got worse and then I had to take it back to ' Game ' and they exchanged it for a new one.

The same thing has happened with this one !!! ... the drift is really bad.

I have read the same story all over the internet, the same up drift on the right analog in all models of Xbox One controller !!!

I tried to clean it and follow some online articles claiming to fix it, but they didn't work - and I will not be opening it, because I don't want to void the warranty.

This really is unacceptable, what a stress, what a complete hassle and annoyance.

Does anyone know what the official word is from Microsoft, other than just get a new one via exchange ( which leaves you with NO controller while they fix it or get one out to you. I think it is a disgrace.

I never ever ever in all the years I owned an Xbox 360 had a problem with the controller like this.

Xbox One Play and Charge error with new controllers

Xbox One Special Edition Lunar White Wireless Controller with latest firmware 2.3.2385.0 using Xbox One Play and Charge Kit it comes up with dead battery after about 15 min's of play but works fine in my day

Right stick keeps looking up! HELP!

I am on my second lunar white xb1 controller ... the right analog started to drift a month after I got it, I took it back to Game and got it exchanged, but not it has happened again 3 months later !!! ... I use it perhaps for a few hours per week.

I have heard of so many people experiencing exactly the same thing, this is really NOT acceptable Microsoft.

There is no fix so just exchange it mate, The newer versions seem more sturdy than the older ones, But it shouldn't happen after a couple of weeks.

I really love the look of the Lunar White controller and most of the other White special edition controllers. Just a preference, but they always look so clean to me.

I've had D-Pad issues with multiple xbox one controllers from the normal black, the CoD AW version and most recently the special edition lunar white. Very frustrating.

The controller drift issue does typically require the controller to be replaced and unless still under warranty it is the responsibility of the user. You can do a quick Google search for white controller and you will get a number of links. Here is one
