    RIG 800lx not playing audio after newest Xbox One Console Update.


    Earlier today I was listening to music on Spotify for Xbox using my RIG 800lx and all the sudden my Xbox took me to the screen that said "Update Time", so I updated my Xbox and now the RIG 800lx won't play any audio. I've tried hard restarting my console,
    unplugging the USB adapter and plugging it back in, unplugging the console's power cable for a few minutes, made sure my audio is set to the headset in audio settings on the console, and nothing is working. I have tested them out on my brother's Xbox which
    thankfully didn't need an update and they were working fine, also tested them out in PC Mode on another device and again was working fine with no issues. I've even tried using a different USB port on the console, registering the headset to another profile
    on my console. I'm apart of the Xbox Console Beta's via the Xbox Insider Programme so I obviously get updates before my brother does as he is not apart of the programme.

    Update: I've now got them working by changing my audio to "Stereo uncompressed" but whenever I change it back to "Dolby Amos for Headphones" the audio goes away again. Obviously there is still an issue with the update as it's no longer allowing me to use
    one of the main features with this headset. So any help with getting it sorted would be greatly appreciated.

    what is your fav headset or mic

    I have the Rig 500pro currently. Bought it because it works on both my Xbox One and PlayStation 4. But have been contemplating picking up the RIg 800LX for the Xbox One, since 99% of my gaming is done on it.

    To add to M3tal Daz3's suggestion have you also checked the headset's website to make sure you don't need to download any firmware or apps for proper use

    Have you tried a different headset just to make sure the one you have is working properly?
