RIG 700HX Not connecting

I always recommend wiring your main console/gaming rig for these reasons. Wireless on 2.4ghz is absolutely not a good way to connect, if you aren't using a 5ghz channel then say goodbye to consistent connectivity.

lag has always been a problem no matter how fast your rig is.

most of the time the issue is your ISP connection to the internet backbone.

i've traceroutes my connection at times of lag and seen the timeouts between the backbone and isp.

To add to M3tal Daz3's suggestion have you also checked the headset's website to make sure you don't need to download any firmware or apps for proper use

If you are using a RIG 700 Headset and have purchased the Dolby Atmos trial for your Xbox Series X, but you are unable to communicate with other players, you may need to check your privacy settings and your headset firmware. To fix this, you can try the following steps:



- Press the Xbox button to open the guide and select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox Live privacy.

- Select View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer, and then make sure that your settings allow communication with everyone.

- If everything is on "Allow" or set to "Everyone", block all of them then power cycle your console and "Allow" and set it to "Everyone" again. This is to refresh your account setting.

- To power cycle your console, turn it off by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. Then turn it back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the controller.

- You can also check if your headset firmware is up to date by downloading the RIG app from the Microsoft Store and following the instructions on the screen.
