Ridiculous Killstreaks

Maniac - Upon earning killstreak, must call in the gear via care package. Sentry Gun - Soldier somehow unfolds a sentry gun out of his rear like one of those bikes out of Pokemon. This has always tickled me, how on earth is it fair that I can earn a Maniac
through my Killstreak setup, and then have to call it in? If I'm killed, I could then possibly lose my EARNED killstreak. Fair? No. People can pull out their I.M.S, Pathetic little Sat Com, Sentry Gun, or magically teleport to their Lokis and Helo Pilots
without ANY risk of them being stolen. However, Maniacs and other Juggs can be stolen on the battlefield by your enemies. If that's the case, why can't I just throw a grappling hook up to the Helo Pilot's window and kick him out? Of course, I'm not being
serious about the grappling hook thing. Merely putting forward a point of view, opinions on this? Do you feel that it's fair?

In fact I love it! The killstreaks aren't too ridiculous and the speed at what you die makes things on a more even playing field. And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the specialist killstreak load out. It's all I use.

 

If it wasn't for vehicles...?

Vehicles are what make BF BF, but I still prefer the gunplay in BF compared to Call of Booty with all the ridiculous percs and killstreak rewards.

 

If you dont like the killstreak or how its obtained through a CP, then dont use it, easy really.

 

I don't use it anymore, I'm merely expressing my hatred for how it's obtained through a CP when many other killstreaks do not require a CP unless you complete a field order. Thanks for the useless input though, good to know the extent of your brain capacity.
Also, at no point in my OP did I ask for advice. I asked for opinions, good to know that you can read too. Lulz.

I'm kind of glad that I don't have to call in packages to get the likes of the dogs or sentry guns, it makes me want to use them more now that they're easy to obtain. Got killed many a time calling in a sentry gun in MW2 & MW3 & it put me off using them.

I've never liked or used killstreaks that are obtained through care packages for that reason. My luck is that after I call in the CP, a trio of bandits come in for the scavenge and I have to fight them off or risk losing it.

 

but how many CP are a waste cause its just another dog, and I already got one.

The best way on cod to control spawns ...... throw a cp marker where noone can get it. You know you'll spawn on the opposite side of the map until it disappears.

 

Good point JimBob--The Specialists Package is really great. Me and alot of the guys I used to play with would always use it in pubs. People can be getting beat 180-2, but if there are no choppers, dogs, etc smashing the map, people will stay in lobbies.
You can be on the losing team and get some killstreaks going and the winning team will all dashboard. Its really weird, but I have seen this a ton. Alot of the "better" players will use the Specialist packages when running in pubs just to keep the enemy team
around. That a huge reason why Ive wanted the newest CoDs to be built around gunfights and not AI killstreaks.
