The message you sent has curse words in it. That is why you were suspended. The questionaire is to weed out people who dont read/know rules even though they said they read and agreed to them when making their account.

Yes you pay for the use of Xbox live and its fuctions but you also agreed to the terms and conditions/code of conduct listing the rules of using the service and the consequences for breaking them.

That being said the enforcement team is the only ones who deal with bans/suspensions and the only way to reach them is by filing for a case review as described here:

However since you already admit to sending a message that breaks the rules it would be pointless to do so as the decision would just be upheld.

Legal threats wont get you anywhere either and will only get this thread locked. Not that speaking to your lawyer would get you anywhere since again, you broke the terms of service which would stand up in a court case not that it would ever get that far.

So if I have a conversation with another player that consists any bad word, he can report me whenever he wants? Only because of the word?! I could have said "Life is a bitch" and would be suspended? Really?! Hilarious! Imagine it is a guy you were friends
with. Then he can go back to a message from 2 weeks ago and report that?

Now the questionaire does really not state if you read the conditions or not! No one can keep all of the terms in mind! It is like keeping your insurance contract in mind!

Legally you are on a wrong path! Only because you agreed to something, does by far not mean that it is legally correct and couldn*t be reversed by a court!

Since it's a 1 day suspension all you can do is wait it out. Profanity is a violation of the code of conduct, so no matter how you meant it, the word you used is not acceptable on Live.

You can not do this, it is recommended by Xbox Live that you block and report them, if you do the same, you can be punished with suspension or banishment.
