    Rewards says my account is not Gold when it is, and no myvip % back on any purchases since Feb


    Hi, I've raised this before but now I've noticed something else.

    My account in Rewards says it's not gold when it is, and has been continuously for many years with either a combination of auto-renewal or prepaid codes.

    In I suspect a related issue, I've had no MyVIP % credit back on purchases since February this year, when I know I've made many digital purchases, included top games like Mass Effect Andromeda.

    From the FAQ:

    A MyVIP Star Rank is an exclusive feature of Xbox Live Rewards that gives members a certain % back in Rewards Credits for monthly digital purchases made in the Microsoft Store on your Xbox or on Windows (retail Microsoft Store purchases do not apply). In
    order to start earning your % back, you have to unlock your first star by spending at least $300 (or regional equivalent) on eligible content. While eligible purchases you make track towards your year-to-date Star Rank, your MyVIP Star Rank is recalibrated
    each year based on your previous year's spend. As your MyVIP Star Rank grows, so will the % you get back each month. Plus, if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, your percentage doubles, and you can earn up to 10% back each month in Rewards Credits.

    Please note: Purchase minimums refer to pre-tax totals.

    Since you have not made 300 EUR in eligible purchases, you are not eligible for MyVIP payback, since you do not have any MyVIP stars.

    Yet to recieve % back

    Hi, I have been a one star gold vip since november 2016, and have yet to recieve my 2% back on purchases, notably For Honor Gold Edition (bought in feb ) and AC Syndicate bought last week....the myRewards hasnt moved since i did a survey in janurary and
    the only noticable change in my account is it says that i am now %6 to my next star

    The gold issue is a known issue that they are working on. April's rebate has been delayed while they fix that issue, but support will check into your March rebate.

    Apologies for the inconvenience. There is currently an issue with some preview program members where new subscriptions are not correctly recorded. This was due to changes for those members in how subscriptions are stored in the database. We have resolved
    the issue, and subscriptions are now being properly reflected. We were also delaying MyVIP for April until this issue is resolved, to ensure that you are rewarded at the Gold level, and are now working on verifying this payback for affected users. Again, we
    apologize for the inconvenience caused by this delay.

    Since you opted in to the Simply Rewarding offer in March, your purchases went towards that offer instead of MyVIP payback. As specified in our FAQ, you cannot be Rewarded twice for a single purchase:

    After reviewing your account, it looks like you may be unfamiliar with how our program works, especially after changes made to the program in 2014, when it transitioned from MyAchievements to MyVIP. We see that your account mostly earned Rewards from Gold
    Subscriptions and MyAchievements. Both of those offers ended in 2014. We have not awarded Credits for Gold since July 2014, as mentioned in our sticky. In September 2014, we switched to MyVIP, and payback based off of gamerscore was discontinued. In MyVIP,
    you must spend a minimum amount to earn you first MyVIP star, after which you begin to earn a percentage of your purchases back as payback. Since you did not have any MyVIP stars and did not complete any offers, you did not earn any Credits. Chat support does
    not have access to Xbox Live Rewards, so they were likely referring to your Microsoft Rewards Account. If you should have more points in that program as your support representative mentions, you may wish to reach out to their customer support as directed by
    Smwutches, as we do not have access to Microsoft Rewards.

    Since your purchase in Tekken 7 in December went towards the Family Rewards offer, and your purchase of Injustice 2 and Logan Lucky went towards the YOLO Rewards and Microsoft Movies and TV offers respecitvely, they did not award any Credits, since you did
    not complete those offers. Regarding purchases made last month, keep in mind that pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, as specified in the FAQ, and that MyVIP is awarded the following month:

    When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

    The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit
    terms. Be sure to keep an eye on MyStatement on the
    MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!
