    Rewards purchases


    I was informed that if I spent over $100 in the xbox store in the month of febuauary that I would be bumped from a 2 star vip to a 3 star vip. i spent well over $100 that month and as far as i could tell it only counted $30-40 towards the total of $100.
    Im not sure why this has happened. I also buy a lot of games on the xbox store and see dont them counting towards the 4% i should be getting back on games i buy in the xbox store. i also get around 1000 gamerscore each month and dont see that counting towards
    anything like it should be. i have many issues with the rewards program and am now starting to question its reliability. ive been a rewards member since 2011 and have yet to see much of any "reward" for all the time and money i have dedicated to my xbox and
    xbox live account.

    not getting credit for one game I think its For Honor

    Hello Deaven4,

    We can only Reward purchases made while being a Rewards member. Since your purchase of For Honor was made outside the Rewards program, we cannot Reward that purchase.

    Only purchases made in your Rewards Account region's currency are eligible for Rewards. Since you have been purchasing with Canadian dollars, and your account was a US Rewards Account, those purchases were not eligible for Rewards. Your purchases since enrolling
    as a Canadian Rewards member on June 5th are the only purchases eligible for Rewards.

    Support will double check your purchases, but keep in mind that if any of the purchases were subscriptions, in-game consumables, or preorders they would not have counted towards VIP.

    There are no offers to receive credits for gamerscore.

    Hello MilkyMooseJuice,

    You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
    https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/     .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
    back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
    the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
    get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

    As mentioned, Pre-orders and game consumables are not eligible for MyVIP, and therefore not eligible for the VIP extra star offer. This is mentioned in both our MyVIP FAQ:



    What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

    Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
    items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

    Only purchases made in your Rewards program region are eligible for Rewards. Since you made your purchases in a region outside of your Rewards Account region at the time, those purchases are not eligible for Rewards.
