    Rewards problems


    I keep getting emails saying there is a problem with my Microsoft Rewards, and to check my billing information.

    My billing information looks okay, and it advise to raise a support request.

    Please advise.

    Destiny reward problem last night ...

    The patch yesterday seems to have caused disconnection issues. I managed to get through the raid without any of the 6 of us disconnecting but I've heard not-so-good things and Reddit is pretty angry.

    It seems like your buddy Avi didn't get loot for the Nightfall based on your description. That makes sense. He "quit" the game before the mission end countdown, so as far as Destiny is concerned he didn't finish it. This is the case in any mission or strike, the rewards are given out as soon as the mission end timer starts counting down. Unfortunately he was unable to get back into the game before the loot was rewarded, so he'll have to do it again.

    The heroic makes less sense. You definitely finished it without leaving early? What does your map say? You should be able to see if you can earn rewards on it or not. If you're eligible for 9 coins, then you didn't get credit for it for some reason. If you're not eligible for 9 coins, then the game knows you finished it. Are you sure you didn't get the 9 coins? Maybe there was only space in the mission debriefing for the engrams and you actually did get the coins, check your inventory. It could always be a weird bug, but I haven't heard of the game failing to give players any guaranteed loot.

    Destiny reward problem last night ...

    Heyyy,

    So in short, the update had everyone's connection messed up last night ... i did the nightfall with 2 friends & we kept lagging out in random order throughout the whole mission but we always had one still in the mission to invite each other back so we did it on our first run but it took even longer than usual...then one of the funniest moments happened followed by one of the most frustrating moments ... my friend Avi got the final shot on the boss & lagged out instantly which led to me and the other guy going into a laughing fit cause he had no time to join back for the rewards ... the frustrating part was that i got a legendary scout rifle & the other guy got a legendary sniper ... that was all .... is this because maybe the game thought we joined at the end because we kept leaving and rejoining & could be part of the patch ? Or maybe we just got really unlucky ?

    We did the weekly heroic after & they both got all the rewards ... the 9 coins & engrams etc but i only got 2 decoherants and NO coins !

    Does anyone know why ?

    After reviewing your account, it appears that you are currently being affected by a known database issue which is interfering with the information on your account. What is happening is that your billable account information is being incorrectly communicated
