Rewards Points to change Gamertag?

I can't use my Microsoft rewards points to change my gamer tag. I try and the Microsoft rewards option doesn't pop up, any help would be appreciated.. I don't like my gamer-tag, and i get a lot of bash on my name. Please help me.

I think the change to Microsoft rewards has been a nice smooth change over with a ton of added features and chances at more reward points.

You have a chance at getting a fair amount of points daily and they now have an Xbox Rewards app that can help you score even more points.

A lot of selection in rewards/sweepstakes.

 

Xbox Live Rewards Currency

I'm not sure but I don't think you can use points to do that.

 

For help with the Microsoft Rewards program, you would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page. Rewards points can only be used to redeem gift cards through the Rewards program, not to be used to make purchases on Live. You would
need to save up enough to redeem an Xbox gift card and then use the money from that gift card.
