    Rewards Not Tracking


    I had an offer to spend $125 this month and I would be bumped a rank in VIP. So I have spent more than that this month and all of my purchases are more than 96 hrs old, and neither my rewards credits nor the credit toward that goal have been tracking correctly.
    The whole thing now says under construction and I'm pretty sure I didn't meet the goal according to the website, which should not be the case as I spent more than enough money to reach the goal. What do I need to do to fix this, as it going to really unfair
    if I don't get my VIP reward star.

    Rewards not tracking

    Support will check into it for you, but keep in mind that VIP status is only based on your eligible purchases you make each year (you can see how much you need to spend for each level at http://rewards.xbox.com/terms-and-conditions). Subscriptions, in-game
    consumables, and preorders do not count towards VIP.

    We have reviewed your purchases and confirmed that your ending MyVIP progress for the previous year is correct. A required spending of $300 over the course of September 2015 - December 2016 is required for the first MyVIP star. Only two of your purchases,
    your pre-order's in August and December, were not counted toward MyVIP. Pre-orders, game consumables and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP. It sounds like your son may be spending more than you are. We do not see any TV or Movie spending for your account,
    and Xbox Live Gold renewals do not award credits as of July 2014.

    Since your purchase on the 28th was a pre-order, it was not eligible for this offer. This offer follows standard MyVIP rules, and pre-orders, game consumables, and subscriptions do not qualify. From the FAQ for that offer:

    Which content is eligible for this offer?

    You must spend at least $125 before tax on qualifying MyVIP content from the Xbox Store and Microsoft Movies & TV during the offer period. Most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (game pre-orders
    do NOT qualify), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game season passes, themes, and avatar items. From Microsoft Movies & TV, qualifying content includes movies, TV shows, and TV seasons. However, in-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove
    Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards do not qualify.
