    Just got off the xbox support chat due to a rewards issue after an hour of them trying to figure out what is going on and they cannot understand it.

    The brief - member for 13 years now and signed up to the rewards scheme but it has not registered any where near anything that I have purchased or added extras to a game.

    My whole report

    Very odd considering that I renew year on year and download a lot of games and buy season passes and extra items for games.

    Recently I have bought several games from the store, these include Sniper elite 4 with season pass, carmageddon, wildlands gold edition, bf1 deluxe and various other items as well as renewing membership.

    It seems the rewards program is not working and has major issues within it.

    Hello matt8687,

    Apologies for the confusion. There was an issue with MyVIP last month that caused us to delay the payback for purchases in September. We recently awarded this delayed payback, which is why some users are seeing Credits that have been pending since September
    30th. You should receive these Credits with the end of the month deposit.

    As Smwutches says, the button to request a deposit has been removed since you have already been scheduled for a deposit.

    Rewards Issue

    Since you registered and created a British Rewards Account, only your purchases made with that region's currency (GBP) is eligible for Rewards. Purchases made with a different regional currency are not eligible for Rewards. Additionally, your spending in
    a different region will cause your deposits to be prevented due to a mismatch between your Rewards Account region and your Microsoft Account region. Since your Rewards Account is a separate entity from your Microsoft Account, migrating your Microsoft Account
    region will not also change your Rewards Account region. Therefore, when your British Rewards Account attempts a deposit GBP, it will be unable complete since your Microsoft Account will only accept USD.

    However, this issue can be fixed by heading over to the Microsoft Commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com) to update your Microsoft account to match your Xbox Live Rewards location. Another option if
    you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Xbox Live region is to opt out of the program at (
    https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/ ) , wait 48 hours and then sign back up again, which can also take 48 hours.

    While you will lose your progress by starting a brand new account, you can start earning Rewards Credits that will successfully reward your newly registered regional currency. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date
    from the MyRewards page at (Xbox Live Rewards). If your join date shows a specific date and not a date of "???", then your account has successfully been re-registered. If you open a new post
    after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one.

    You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at Xbox Live Rewards .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
    back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
    the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you were a zero star member, you did not
    get payback Credits on your purchases. Since you completed our VIP Boost offer, and were promoted to your first star, you can expect to start earning payback on your MyVIP eligbile non-offer purchases as a monthly whole halfway through the following month. You
    can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

    This forum is for Xbox Live Rewards program issues. Since you are not a Xbox Live Rewards member, this sounds like a Microsoft Rewards issue, which is a separate program. You would have to contact their support for assistance with this issue, via a link
    on the Microsoft Rewards page.

    Live rewards became MS rewards. So they are the ones you have to contact.

    Zero
    Xbox Rewards support still posts here and still assists with Xbox Rewards issues. Since his issue is an Xbox Rewards program issue, he needs to wait for a response from support here. Microsoft Rewards support will not be able to assist.

    Hello STRETCH 0891,

    There is currently an internal issue with the data stored for your account which is preventing a deposit. Our deposit process cannot correctly determine the primary billable account to deposit into for your Microsoft Account, and thus aborts the process.

    If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted
    to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog.

    Points aren't diposited instantly. I believe they are put into your account the 15th and the last of each month.
