Rewards for pre-order game purchase not available????

I pre-ordered "Borderlands 3" and obviously could not play it until September 13 - in effect equal to a September 13 purchase. WHY exclude loyal customers from the Microsoft Rewards 6,000 point bonus!???? We should be rewarded as if the game was purchased
on September 13, 2019! One would expect that Microsoft values and

appreciates its "established" consumers.

I agree with this. The Rewards Team should change the way that reward works when pre-ordering a game.

The program is the same for any game on the list through the entire program. Buying, achieving and playing. Previous actions are not counted. You should bring your question to the Microsoft rewards support team. Also, I have the other two links:

Exactly. I'm not sure why people think otherwise.

I got stung like this a few years back so ever since then, I've stopped preordering.

Unfortunately this has been this way for awhile now and I figured it would be coming for Borderlands 3 but there was no way I wasn't playing as soon as it released. I wish it counted retroactively as well.
