Revoke License Transfer Xbox One

Is it possible to revoke someone from playing your digital games on another xbox one, through My home Xbox?

I no longer want a friend to play a game of mine.

If he were to delete my account off his xbox, would that make a difference? Or will he still be able to play the game I own?

His friend could transfer the console license. The friend would have to log into the "new" console and the friend would have to perform the transfer process and re-download the content to bind the licenses to the "new" console. Ownership of those licenses
would stay with the friend, and in 120 days the friend could revoke the licenses by performing a license transfer to another console.

Transferring the licenses doesn't in fact revoke the previous one until the content is downloaded there to 'refresh' the license.

For example if I were to lend IceStorm my account and he did a license transfer to his console and got my items, I would still be able to play them offline (or on another account) because the console license at my end would not have been updated.

The updating of licences doesn't happen automatically. In fact it seems duplicate licences can exist. Content that can be used on my Elite offline can still be used offline on my sister's console (my old one) just by putting my hard drive on because I've
never redownloaded the content there to revoke the license.

In all honesty the whole system is open to abuse and I'm surprised that Microsoft don't have the system set to automatically revoke a console license when the machine next goes online.

 

If his console is set as your gamertag's Home console then he will get all the same content that you purchase as it will download to his console.

What you'll need to do is set your console as your Home console and then delete your gamertag from his console and change your password just to be on the safe side.

 

What if he downloaded it before you set the Xbox home and also can't delete your account from his Xbox one?

 

Will setting the Xbox as the home require him to start using my account just to play the downloaded games?

On the Xbox One console it doesn't matter if the console was set as the Home console after the game had been downloaded, the content still belongs to the original purchaser.

If there is a game on the console that someone doesn't own and it is not set as the purchaser's Home console then the gamertag that purchased the content will need to be logged in if anyone else wants to play it.
