    Hey, I am the original user of the xbox gamertag "yibo" and i have been having trouble communicating with microsoft due to poor customer service. I have been inactive on xbox for 10 years and I had created the account for my children to play, foolishly letting them make their own password along.     cross platform play is disabled for child accounts on Xbox live
    I have the same issue. I have 2 child accounts; one works; one doesn't! It doesn't look like an age related issue. Its also not disabled for child accounts. Issue is with Epic, but they will not accept that and just fob everyone off back to xbox.

    Thanks for the info... I'l go back to Epic games again and see what they see. I guess I'll be going round in circles for ever with this one but creating an adult account for my son to play just defeats the whole object of the MS family accounts!

    Child Can't Play Multiplayer

    If you have child settings on your childs account then that can disable online multiplayer my recommendation is to go through the account settings and configure it in the way you deem safe for your child

    Is your account a child of a parent account? If so, get in touch with the account holder to make sure multiplayer is not disabled for your account. It may be disabled by default.
