    Revisiting issues with having 2 xbox one consoles at home.


    At long last, my wife has just started gaming. I have just bought another (second hand) console, also with kinect, for her to use to co-op with me. I am able to either connect wired or WiFi to my BT home hub 4.0. I have seen many forums raising an issue
    with linking 2 consoles but nothing in the last couple of years. Are all issues now resolved or am i going to have some unforseen problems I can start to sort before it arrives.?

    Halo MCC snubbed?

    I played plenty of well made games before Halo one that springs to mind straight away is Half Life and plenty others on PC and other consoles at the time. Halo was an excellent game that persuaded me to buy a Xbox.

    As for the MCC having no interest in the MP side of things I played through the first campaign with no issues and really enjoyed revisiting the CE campaign.

    Games Freeze, But Not System?

    I am having the same issues with the xbox one cod aw. I freeze at some point in every multi-player match. It is just an in game freeze as it sends me to the console home. This only happens on AW.

    Hello Mack,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. In the future please be mindful of the forum guidelines for duplicate posts. I will leave this one as it is a separate issue you are having from your card.

    Basically home console is the sharing of subscriptions, and games on one Xbox. To do this I will give an example. console 1 is the main console and set as home. Any profile that is downloaded onto console one will have gold and access to the games. Console
    2 can be used for the profile home console is set on. If any other profiles are on console 2 they will require the profile that has home signed in. My house I play on the not home console, my kids all play on the console set as home. Here is the guide for

    Because your post is in Xbox One support forum I suppose that we are talking about Xbox One and "HOME GOLD" service.

    HOME GOLD means that if you set your Xbox One console HOME CONSOLE and you have Xbox Live GOLD, then everyone who using that Xbox One console have access to GOLD services.

    If they move to another console, then they need Xbox Live Gold to continue to use Xbox Live GOLD. If new console does not have set up as HOME CONSOLE from someone who have Xbox Live GOLD or someone with GOLD have not logged in.

    EXAMPLE: If you have two XBOX ONE consoles. Make one of them as HOME CONSOLE. And let your children log in. Then log in with your GOLD account on other Xbox One console and you can play with your children who are using HOME CONSOLE same time. That way you
    still can use 2 consoles with only one Xbox Live GOLD.

    IF you have 3 Xbox ONE consoles, then you need at least 2 Xbox Live GOLD members to use them all same time.
