Review on enforcement ban

Hi there, I recently received a communications ban for the first time that i'm attempting to get reviewed and I have been speaking with an Xbox live support member. I was trashed talked while playing Destiny, and when I returned the trash talk I received
a ban. I realize now that I shouldn't have returned the trash talk and just reported him instead, but sometimes our anger gets the best of us, and I let it slip which I realize that was my bad. At the very least I feel that both parties should be receiving
a ban, not just the member of which who got reported first, since this kind of banning just leads to a type of community that tries to bait people to respond in a harsh way so that others can get the enjoyment of getting them banned. This is just some food

I have an enforcement on my account

The enforcement team are the only ones who handle suspensions/bans. If eligible, you would need to try submitting a case review on the enforcement site.

 

BANNED XBOX

Console bans are not listed on the enforcement site because they are not eligible for a case review.

 

For information about your ban and to see about submitting a case review, you'll need to go to
http://enforcement.xbox.com In situations like that, it's best to just report those people and ignore them.

 

True i understand that, i would try and get this reviewed through clicking the orange hammer and attempting to review through that but the option is not available to me.

Smwutches mentioned it, but 'll clarify on a bit though. The Enforcement teams don't use the forums at all and they only communicate through a

Case Review. 24 Hour communications suspensions and Console Suspensions are not reviewable, however you can find more information in these cases through the communication sent by the teams to the email address associated with your Xbox Live Gamertag. Remember
that all suspensions are only enforced when a breach of the Code of Conduct or Terms of Service has happened.

One of the common myths is that people who report another user for no reason will see that person suspended. This is not the case and in fact is subject to action as well for false reports which you can find more information about Enforcement Myths HERE.

If you believe the suspension was in error and if you're eligible, you can submit a case review using the steps

HERE, however sometimes you're asked to complete a short questionnaire before you can submit a case review. All of the questions refer to the

Code of Conduct, which you should review prior to filing the review. If you fail on the questionnaire during the Case Review, don't worry as you'll be given another chance in 24 hours.

So it sounds like you might need to accept the questionnaire before you're able to file a review. If it was a 24 hour suspension you wouldn't have the option though.
