    Reverted to old save file


    hey, my dying light save game has now reverted to an old save file from 1 month ago and I can't find my latest saved game. It happened 2 weeks ago as well and to roughly the same point (maybe exactly the same, cant be sure). I've deleted local saves 3 times
    in a row as suggested on a reddit and hard reset the console but when it syncs from cloud it's always back to the same point. I've checked my gamer tags and it has achievements from 2 days ago from the latest gameplay point but I can't load that file. Any
    suggestions? I already played my way back for a fortnight, don't have gone heart to do it again, especially if it will just revert again.

    Minecraft reverted back to old save

    While playing Minecraft the game cut out and took me back to the main menu. On loading the level back up I found I was a few days behind where I should be. This is hours of work seemingly destroyed because of some stupid glitch.

    Is there anyway to get my latest save back or am I just going to have to rebuild?

    World list back in time...

    Earlier I loaded up Minecraft Xbox One Edition and noticed that my recent worlds were not showing. Some of my older worlds were still there, so I went on one of those. It had reverted to a really old version of the save; I've done a lot to that world since
    then.

    So it appears that my worlds, both on my Xbox and in the cloud, have reverted to a months old version! I hope the cloud has a backup which can be restored!

    I have just experienced exactly the same problem with Abe's Oddysee: New N Tasty.

    Like you I have achievements from today yet the game has reverted to a save file from 3 days ago (not as bad as one month at least).

    The game indicated it was saving all the time and had no problem loading the game back when I died but after the console automatically installed an update I had to fully load the game and this was when it presented me with the old save.

    Very annoying!

    Were you pausing the game and powering the console down in-between sessions without first exiting the game? I am wondering if this is what is causing it. It still shouldn't happen though.

    Minecraft World, Failed to Sync fully or is Corrupted. 7year World lost.

    Unfortunately unless you made a separate file save of this world there is no way to revert the world from an old cloud save.

    Is it possible to revert a cloud save made for a game?

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. We understand that you would like to revert, or have Microsoft revert a cloud save to an older save file. Unfortunately that is not possible. Once a cloud save file is overwritten, nothing can be done to get
    it back. The screen where you select which save file to go with is the last chance to keep that file before it is overwritten.
