Reverse chargeback

I never pre order games, I did for Diablo and thought that when I made the pre order I paid for the game then, this was months before release. Got charged on release day and didn't recognize it, made a claim with bank to dispute it. Later I realized it was for Diablo, called bank back told them to cancel the claim but they didn't and it went through. Called bank again And got the claim reversed today, once the money post should I have access to the game again ?

I totally understand Nick! I agree it would be much better if you can talk to a direct Xbox support for this.

As far as I know, once a chargeback has been processed to your account then the game purchase will be refunded. But if you have it cancelled then you will still retain access to your game.

You may try reaching them out this way let me provide the steps https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us on the page click on "Contact us" > Select "Subscriptions & billing" > "I can't redeem a code" > on the issue box type anything there > " See contact options " > there you should find the option to chat with the Xbox support or request a callback.

I know it is not the exact issue you have that is selected but this is just a way I found how you can easily choose the option to contact them. Let me know if you were able to get to it.

The chargeback went through but now its getting reversed by my bank since I told them it was a mistake. The money has gone back out of my account, it's still pending as a charge but once it post should I get access to my game again ? I would love to get a hold of someone in Microsoft but they have no live customer support

With regards to what happened, if the bank disputed the transaction made for the Diablo 4 game then the item will get refunded via the Xbox store as well so in order to have access to it, you just need to purchase it again.

But if the chargeback didn't went through or has not been initiated fully, then you should still have access to the game. You may also check the status of your purchase via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders page. If it shows negative then you will really need to buy the game again to have access to it as it means that the charge has been refunded.

In February 2017, I made a mistaken purchase of Xbox Live subscription twice, so I contacted the payer bank on my credit card, which claimed that Microsoft who authorized the reversal of one of the payments, so I contacted with Microsoft who claimed that
the reversal would occur in a couple of months, that fact was fulfilled, I already had contact with my manager who verified that there was a chargeback, but I see that my signature will end in February 2019 !! !!

Niklas, I understand that you are bothered, but this purchase problem can happen with any global system.

The purchase does not appear in the purchase history, as you stated, right?

This means that the amount will be reversed. The bank takes between 3-14 days to carry out the chargeback.

So just wait that soon the situation will be concluded, friend.
