    Reverse adult windows profile to child


    We setup our sons xbox using my husbands windows profile. We want to be able to switch this profile to child or add a new family member for our son with a child profile without disrupting his xbox profiles, purchases, and achievements. How do we do this?

    I have 2 sons. I have 2 adult profiles, one for each. Can not login to one of the adult profiles. Can the adult profile I can login to adopt the other child?

    How do I change my child's account back to "Child" from "Adult"?

    Hi Mister Gwyther!

    No, he didn't just change the family settings, all he did was change the account to Adult - all that required was for him to put his password in as he is the parental account associated with the child account. I take it that, like you said, there is no way
    to reverse the account back to Child once it had gone to Adult even it was by accident?

    as far as I know there is no way to demote an account from adult to child account.

    I'm afraid that it's not possible to transfer the profile, purchases or achievements to a different Xbox Live Account.

    However any digitally purchased games can be made available to that new account via the Home console setting, which will allow digitally owned games (and subscriptions) by the account that sets the console as Home console can be played by other accounts
    on that same console.

    If you want to be 100% about the demoting stuff then I suggest contacting Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat so they can double check if that is indeed not possible. To contact Xbox Support use

    NORE, the problem is not Adult Content being displayed over an Adult Profile. A simple solution is to set up a Child's Account on your Xbox 360 and Filter the appropriate Content in which you see fit.

    Simple answer, an Adult Profile means Adult Content will be available. Child Profile is per the parents request.

    I believe you should be able to go into the child profile settings and enable it there, I know there are a lot of settings turned off on a child profile versus an adult profile.
