    Returning Xbox Series S for a refund


    Hi,

    Firstly, the Xbox Series S I purchased and wish to return has arrived in good condition and remains un-opened in the original courier brown cardboard packaging. I tried to cancel the pre-order but I could never get to talk to someone or cancel it online.
    So now I have it and am not opening it until I can send it back.

    I live in Portugal and as part of the EU, I am entitled to return the Xbox Series S for a full refund within 14 days. However Microsoft has made it impossible to talk to someone about this. Round and round it sends me. I always end up with I am either not
    entitled to a phone call about that or I am not entitled to a refund which is incorrect according to EU law and Microsoft selling within the EU.

    If someone knows how I can call to discuss the return I would be very grateful.

    Just a thought, but have you thought about putting it on Ebay, I've seen Series S's going for a decent price (more than their RRP)

    I normally don't condone console scalping, but in your case its genuine mistake (on Microsoft part)

    This game is not available for the Xbox One S. It's only available for latest Series S or Series X consoles. You'll need to request a refund.

    There is no such thing as a series one S, do you have a one S or a series S? If it has a disc Drive it's a one S

    If you purchase the Xbox one version it will work on both systems, but the series version will work on series

    Unfortunately since you bought the code from a third-party retailer no refunds are available, and since you redeemed the code it's unlikely Amazon would refund you because they can't take it back

    The Series version is playable on the cloud via GamePass Ultimate
