Returning My Xbox Series X for a Refund

I've been literally trying since the start of November to send my Xbox Series X that I ordered from Microsoft.com for a refund. I am getting told that the "Escalation Team" is processing returns one-by-one and it'll take "3-5 business days" - - - Rinse/Repeat.

Is there a direct line I can get this finished instead of talking to the outsourced support line?

No one here has access to your account, is involved with the Microsoft store in any way, or has access to anything to do with money

Looks like I might be returning the Series S then I knew it wasn't as powerful as the Series X but my god.

I regret passing my Xbox One X because that had 3D support while Series X doesn't. I'm still crossing my fingers to see it returned through firmware update!

I had the exact same issue. Connected to the PC and phone, but not to my Xbox Series X. I had to return it to the store. The microphone light was ON even while I was in the store returning the headset.

Then the correct name for Series X should be: XBox 2021 with SSD and 8K resolution. Oh well, too confusing to call the Series X such a close name to "XBox One X Enhanced" when it's at least a 5 year technology advancement......I preferred when MSFT called versions of Windows by the release year, but I also understand that with Windows Update, they keep the various versions updated for security and added features.

eBay still has a refund policy generally following the law for returns within 30 days for almost any reason.
