    Returning HD to PC state


    I had two 1 TB canvio drives that I used for Xbox One games and I have purchased a 4TB to use now. I want to be able to use the 1TBs on my router for storage (router has usb HD ports). I see no option on the Xbox One and the drives are undetected in Windows
    7 now. Any ideas?

    Three maps returning - can this game get any better !!!

    Yes - three old maps returning in HD. Can't wait to battle on Live Oaks and Airport. Two of my favorite maps, should look stunning in HD.

    Preview Registration pending after almost 3 days

    Returning the console often resets the console back to factory thats usually why you dont include a hd when you send one in

    Returning HD to PC state

    Connect your HDD to your PC.

    Open the Startmenu and search for "Computer Management".

    Once you opened that, choose "Disk Management" on the left side.

    Select your HDD there, right click the Partition and Format.

    WARNING

    Make sure you select the RIGHT HDD

    I appreciate your response and I see the drive in the manager but there isnt an option to format the drive. I initilized the drive in the manager but it still gives me no option to format and still doesnt show up in windows... I will tinker around in there
    and see if I can get it to format. Thanks for the direction to look...

    I actually was able to format the drive after right clicking and choosing new partition and then it asked if I would like to format it.... the drive is now showing up in windows. Thanks for the help...

    Cant play while Hard Drive is in using

    Badger is right, there is an issue with the HD itself. The only real fix for this is to return the HD and get a replacement that is Microsoft brand.

    slow in loading dashboard as well as all games

    Remove the HD, start up without it, deny any updates, let it finish loading offline.

    Turn off, return HD, boot up normally.
