    Returned My Xbox One S Today.


    Returned my Xbox one s today after microsoft or square enix replied to my previous posts.

    Got a PS4 Pro with Mass Effect Andromeda. I should have never wasted my time with XBOX One. PS4 Pro Huge difference.

    Xbox One S - DVD & Blu-ray audio out of sync - DVD audio/video sync worse

    UPDATE: Xbox One S returned. No solution for audio sync issue on DVD/Blu-ray playback.

    After scouring the internet I cannot find a solution. The Xbox Support seems to be correct. There was an issue with the Xbox One S where the audio was not in sync with the video on DVD and Blu-ray playback. I returned the Xbox One S.

    Hopefully few other experience the issue.

    Process after returning xbox for out of warranty repair/replacement

    I returned my grandsons xbox one s for out of warranty repair/replacement, I have received confirmation from UPS that it has been delivered to Germany but have received nothing from Microsoft. When I checked my account a couple of days ago all stages had
    been ticked as being completed yet the xbox was only delivered today. When will I receive any information from Microsoft to confirm receipt of the item and how long does it take before I get an answer about my item.

    After looking at the threads, I can tell you were having an issue with Final Fantasy XV. More specifically the graphical fidelity and quality when using your 4k display. Since you had just purchased the console and are using a 4k display, one of the things
    you'd want to do is run a video calibration tool on the console (steps

    ). You'll also want to ensure that the TV and Xbox One S are communicating properly to allow the 4k HDR signal to work on the TV. We have a guide for that

    as well.

    This can definitely help out with the image looking washed out or muddy. Of course each game is different and uses different techniques and styles for the art direction, so these steps will only go as far as to ensure that your able to see the best picture
    possible. For any in game specific issues, you'd want to contact the developer/publisher directly.

    If you've already returned the console then there wouldn't be anything else we can do of course to try and troubleshoot, but please don't hesitate to reach out again if you ever have another Xbox Support issue!

    power saving mode boot question

    Microsoft rep had me plug directly in the wall and the system boots normal. I previously had the Xbox One S plug into the monster surge protector strip with my TV. That was the problem. Microsoft rep told me that the Xbox Box One S has a built in surge protector.
    I going to use the Xbox One S today and if the problem does not return I will keep the Xbox One S. The Microsoft rep told me to exchange if the problem does return. Thank you for the help.
