  2. Controller Problems?!

    Sounds like it's faulty. Either return unit to retailer or log into xbox.com, register console and send out controller for replacement thru service center.

    Grrrrrrrr Microsoft Cust Service

    I had a faulty pad (down on the dpad did not click and was unreliable). Phoned up game and they had a returned day one console (faulty drive) and they just swapped the pad straight over. I think, they would have offered to replace with new (non day one )handset if they didn't have the faulty returned xbox one.

    Hi there,

    for any repair requests etc you will need to set up a request via
    http://myservice.xbox.com


    It should also tell you what you will need to do to get the faulty item send etc.

    If for some reason you can't set up a repair via that link you will need to contact Xbox Support via
    support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Side note: Don't post any personal information, console information or service reference numbers in the forums.

    Unfortunately for many reasons we can do a repair or replacement request but you'll need to request it on the repair centre website >>>
    myservice.xbox.com/en-US sign in and select problem devices and if your Xbox isn't shown press register devices and enter the serial number of the console what can be found on the stick on the
    bottom of the console and if you can't finish the request contact Xbox support to finish it for you and should take no longer them 10 minutes >>>
    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

    It's up to you if you choose repair or replacement

    Hope this answers your question and helps you to get your console fixed

    Service Request taking too long for XBox One accessory replacement!

    Yes but I was afraid the "Advanced Exchange" program only covers the Xbox Console Unit, not the accessories that come with it. It is unfair however that I have to shell-in 15 extra bucks to send the power supply unit and expected a quite or reasonable shipment
    return but the AE program let's only the console-faulty users to ship the console for free and get it within the week. I feel like that is unintended DISCRIMMINATION. If I paid the same price as the ones with a faulty Console we should deserve a piece of that
    pie. Enough Said!

    I would return to the store and ask about their return policy. ask if it's standard practice to exchange a faulty new xbox with one that was already opened. any time I've returned a console it was replaced with a new one off the shelf.
