retro compatibility

I bought an official old xbox game named Alien versus predator extinction and I am trying to play it on my xbox360

but the error message tells me to "download " the game again or contact xbox page .

well I want to know how can I play this old game on my xbox 360

please any help will be appreciated .

My other alternative is to buy the old console to play this game

Is this game for the orginal xbox or xbox 360? If its for the orginal xbox, I do not think it will work. The game might work on a xbox one, if it's in the backward compatibility list.

Yes , this game is from the original xbox .

and several places list it on the games that CAN be played on the 360.

Yes my 360 is original , and the disc is too .

The error message just told me to download it again .

Original Xbox Games.

We currently only have
31 Original Xbox Games that are available, if you click on the link it will direct you into Microsoft's Official Original Xbox Compatible Games: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility?xr=shellnav.

Unfortunately, by checking the list I was also able to confirm that
Alien Vs. Predator Extinction isn't on the list.
