Retrieving progress/purchases for different console.

Have "Just Cause 3" for son on home XB1 along with Gold account. He's progressed a lot & we've purchased extra content. He has an Xbox at his Mom's too, (No Gold) so I brought the disc to install it. It "seemed" as though extras & progress were being downloaded,
but before it completed it stopped. Now the game starts from the VERY beginning with none of the earned equipment or purchased maps. How can we get progress/purchased content on the 2nd unit? Thanks in advance!

GFW Marketplace: error retrieving your purchase history

Hello,

I've been getting the "retrieving your purchase history" error for a long time now — a few months maybe. I believe it started appearing after switching account region from US to RU. Yes, I tested it on different PCs.

Can it be fixed?

Also, I cannot download Dirt 3 Free Car Pack — error code: 80070057. Paid DLCs downloaded successfully though.

If the content was purchased under his account, he would just need to check his games and apps and redownload everything from the ready to install section (dlc will show up if you manage the game itself). His progress should automatically sync as soon as
he starts playing as long as he's signed into Live.

If the content was purchased under your account, you would need to set the other console as his Home console in order for him to access the content. However, you can only change your Home console 5 times per year so it's not a great option if he's needing
to swap them a lot.

I’m sorry to say, but it is not possible to transfer saved progress from a game on game pass or the Microsoft store to Steam or a different marketplace.

If you decide to purchase and reinstall the game on the Microsoft Store, your progress will be retrieved from the cloud, yungfuji16.

If the progress was deleted or overwritten there is no way to retrieve it.

Unfortunately that is not possible. I've made gift purchases and neither of my friends living in a different region could gain access to retrieve the gift because they lived in a different country.
