    Retrieving my account


    I was having some connection issues while playing with my brother and his friend; my brother advised that I reset my Xbox to fix the problem. I did that thinking that my account was synchronized with Xbox Live and thus would be saved as I believed it would,
    but I realize now that I misread the directions I was given, permanently deleting my account and all of my progress in games from the past seven years. Is there any way that I can retrieve this information at all, any fail safe to help me get it back? Or am
    I screwed out of nearly a decade of progress and should wallow in self pity and anger in being so foolhardy? Any help is appreciated.

    Currently unable to transfer account from one xbox to another

    so today i tried to retrieve my account from my xbox to my brother's but it didn't work giving me an error message after trying to retrieve my gamer profile information

    Did you just remove your account or deleted it?

    If you removed your account, you can add it again by follwing these steps: Add or Remove a Microsoft Account on Xbox One

    If you deleted your account, you can reopen it by following these steps: Reopen Your Microsoft Account

    Hi OmG! So you are unable to recover the account, but you can sign in with it? Have you tried resetting your Microsoft account password? I would also suggest you have update and valid proofs on your account. Here is how to Add
    and Update Your Microsoft Account Security Proofs     if you have any questions doing that.
