    Retrieving messages


    Last night I had a long conversation with someone by messaging them. Today I went back to screen shot what was said because part of it was a death threat. But I could only go back so far. Is there any way I can get those messages back in case I have to take
    this to the authorities?

    Hi Mained,

    Could you try using the xbox app on windows 10 to see if you can scroll back till the start of the conversation.

    Sometimes there can be an issue retrieving messages on the app. Just restart the app and reload the messages. They should come up soon. Also can you retrieve messages from your Xbox?

    I'm afraid to say that once messages have been deleted, there's no way they can be retrieved once again. Xbox does not store these messages to be retrieved by the player(s) at any time.
