Retrieving games from my account

    Retrieving games from my account


    I had a new XBOX360 E for Christmas to replace my original machine.

    We have had problems transferring data to new machine, and so I am having to start again on all my games even though I have been playing for a few years and have spent a lot of time and money on XBOX points.

    All of my achievements are on my account though.

    My question is can I retrieve all the data held on my account so I don't have to mess around with the transfer operation that is not working?

    Network lag on Halo 5.

    Not entirely sure if this is an issue with xbox live, the game itself, or my connection but stats and requisition access and account req storage just keeps saying "Retrieving data". Unable to requisistion from multiplayer game terminals or from main lobby...

    So you deleted the account that was used to purchase the games? If that's the case, the only way to play them with a different gamertag would be if your console was set as your original gamertag's home Xbox, which, presumably it's not, as that's why the games aren't launching. There is no way to set that console as your original gamertag's home Xbox now, as the account no longer exists.

    Purchases can't be transferred from one account to the other and as you deleted the account that purchased the games, I don't think there's anything you can do. That's assuming I'm understanding the situation correctly.
